Profile Summary

Dr. Muhammad Imran received his PhD in Energy System Engineering from University of Science and Technology, South Korea and MS in Thermal Power Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. He has over 8 years of teaching and research experience at both national and international level. His research activities aim at developing innovative thermal energy systems and improve the energy performance of existing energy systems. Primarily, his research focus on solar thermal energy, waste heat and low grade heat recover using Organic Rankine Cycle, heat pumps, HVAC, and 4th generation district heating and cooling. He has successfully completed 6 research projects in above mentioned research field funded by Korean government and private industrial sector at Korea Institute of Energy Research. His research work has been published in various internationally recognized ISI indexed journals and international peer reviewed conference proceedings on the above mentioned research area. He is also serving as a reviewer for more than 4 international journals in the field of Energy. His activities have been awarded from different institutions such as Research Excellence award by Korea Institute of Energy Research, Excellence Award by University of Science and Technology South Korea, and SATHA Innovation Award by South Asia Triple Helix Association.
