1. CPD activity on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Solution Procedure: A beginning

CPD activity has been arranged by the Department of Mechanical Engineering on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Solution Procedure: A beginning". The Workshop will be delivered by Dr. Tipu Sultan, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, UMT.

The Workshop was scheduled on 23rd December 2021 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in SEN Building (Room 311).

2. OBE Training on Complex Engineering Problem

Dr Pervaiz Mughal had curated a dynamic CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activity titled "OBE Training on Complex Engineering Problems." This program was designed to equip engineering professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to effectively apply Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles when tackling intricate engineering challenges. Participants  gained a comprehensive understanding of OBE methodologies, enhancing their problem-solving abilities in the complex world of engineering.

3. Emerging Manufacturing Technology

Professor Dr. Ghulam Hussain organized an enlightening CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activity focused on "Emerging Manufacturing Technology." During this engaging session, participants delved into the latest advancements and trends in manufacturing, gaining valuable insights into cutting-edge technologies that were reshaping the industry. Dr. Hussain's expertise and guidance empowered professionals to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving manufacturing landscape.

4.Social and Ethical Issues in Engineering: A Professional Perspective (0.5 CPD pt.)

Guest Speaker: Engr. Rafia Qayyum (Deputy Secretary Police in the Home Department, Government of Punjab)

The speaker highlighted the social and ethical aspects of the engineering profession with examples from her experience. Students got an opportunity to learn from an engineer turned civil servant.
