Entrance Requirements
A-Levels, FSc or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Those who have studied Computer Studies/Science instead of Chemistry are eligible for admission to Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering and Textile Design Technology, but will be required to take an additional course.
Admission Criteria
All applications are evaluated on the basis of merit as determined by the applicant's previous academic record and performance in the Admission Test.
Admissions for a limited number of seats are finalized purely on merit basis. To be eligible for admission into BS Electrical Engineering program, the candidate must have secured;
Minimum 60% marks in matriculation (or equivalent) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Minimum 60% marks in F.Sc (or equivalent)Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Minimum 50% marks in admission test administered by the university.
Note: Candidates with Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Electrical and Electronics instead of A-Level/FSc can also apply.
Admission Test
All candidates are required to sit for an entrance examination of three hours duration that covers FSc-level Mathematics and English.
