Dr. Kaleem completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, in 1996, and his M.Sc. in Information and Communication Systems from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) in 2000. Afterwards he worked at TUHH as a Research and Teaching Staff Member for four years. He has also taught at the Electrical Engineering department at COMSATS Institute of Information Technology in Lahore as an Assistant Professor from June 2005 to November 2007. Dr. Kaleem moved to Canada in 2008, where he completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University in Toronto, followed by a post-doctoral position for one year in the Physics department at Ryerson University. He also taught as an instructor in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Information Technology Management departments of Ryerson University over a period of five years. He joined the Electrical Engineering department of University of Management and Technology in February of 2016 as an Associate Professor. Dr. Kaleem's research interests are in the area of biomedical signal analysis, statistical analysis of fMRI data as well as adaptive methods of data analysis.
