Electrical Engineering students win second prize in National Championship NGIRI held on 2-3 April 2019
Wednesday, April 10, 2019The final year project of Electrical Engineering students Aamir Zia Qasim Malik (graduated in 2018) titled Control and Operation of MicroGrid secured 2nd Position along with prize money of Rs. 375,000 at National Championship NGIRI held at Islamabad. This project was supervised by Nauman Ahmad, Assistant Professor and Awais Saeed, Lab Engineer and had previously also won funds of Rs. 70,000 PKR by IGNITE, NGIRI / ICT. This is the first time in the history of UMT that a final year project has won this award at National Championship.
