Introduction
The School of Engineering (SEN) was set up in April of 2013 with the vision to act as a hub for various engineering disciplines. It provides a common regulatory platform for professional education in the field of engineering aiming to achieve national and international accreditation of degree programs offered under its umbrella. It consists of Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Industrial Engineering. These departments offer BS, MS, and PhD Programs accredited/recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). SEN offers leading-edge programs to instill design, application and innovation skills in its students by utilizing and involving their curiosity, intelligence and creativity. The mission of the UMT School of Engineering is to give the students a high-quality educational experience; to generate and apply knowledge through research, development and scholarly activity; and to serve society, country and the engineering profession.
