Dr. Muhammad Usman Rashid is currently serving University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore as Associate Dean/Professor in the School of Engineering. He established and commissioned the civil engineering department at UMT as founder Chairman. The department has been continuously accredited at OBE level II by PEC and successfully offered BS,MS and PhD Civl engineering Programs. He also designed and established several state of the art labs of the department of UMT. He has provided engineering consultancy services to industry and has served NESPAK as Senior Hydraulics Engineer. He has 10 years of consultancy experience of irrigation/hydraulic structures. His current responsibilities at UMT involves teaching graduate and undergraduate courses and overseeing all the School affairs and works. He acquired doctorate in Civil Engineering (Specialization in Water Resources Engineering and Management) in 2013 from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore.
