Syed Taseer Abbas Jaffar received PhD degree in Civil Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), China, with distinction as an excellent international student.With 12 years of diverse experience of construction industry,Academia, and Research. He is currently working as Assistant Professor at University of Management and Technology,Lahore. His research interests include Geotechnical characteristics of contaminated fine-grained soil, Soil-environment interaction, Construction materials, and Environmental sustainability.
