BS Civil Engineering

Program Goals

Main objective of the Civil Engineering Program of UMT is to provide the students professional and scientific education to become successful professional engineers. Specifically, our graduates will be trained with a view to:

1. Functioning in professional environment in industry, government, and academia; applying and building upon civil engineering knowledge,  problem solving skills, and communication techniques;
2. Working efficiently both in teams as well as in leadership roles applying ethical standards including the ASCE code of ethics within and beyond traditional Civil Engineering disciplines; and
3. Be aware with the technology, contemporary scientific and societal issues, and consequently improve their skills and knowledge through lifelong learning process.
